SMA Solar Technology AG Press Release Change in SMA's Board Member for Finance Niestetal, May 19, 2022 – Ulrich Hadding, Board Member for Finance, Human Resources and Legal at SMA Solar Technology AG (SMA, FWB: S92) will leave the company at his own request on May 31, 2022, after many years of service. Barbara Gregor, Managing Director and CFO of thyssenkrupp Materials Trading GmbH and the international thyssenkrupp Materials Trading Group, has been appointed to the Managing Board as his successor. Ulrich Hadding is leaving his position on the Managing Board of SMA to take on a new professional challenge. Hadding, who has been employed at SMA since 2009, including as Head of Finance and Legal, was appointed to the Managing Board as CFO and Labor Director in 2017. In addition to Finance and Legal, he was also responsible for the functions of Human Resources, Compliance, Auditing, Real Estate Management and Public Affairs. He also played a key role in supporting all of SMA's recent M&A activities and managed the company's capital market communications. “SMA is a great company that is excellently positioned to take advantage of the opportunities presented by renewable energy growth. Barbara Gregor is also considered an expert in international M&A transactions, change management as well as strategic business development and turnaround management. Until she joins the company, Thomas Pixa, Executive Vice President Finance at SMA, will act as interim CFO.
