Lidl Distribution Centre - Ireland, 2019

Supermarket chain Lidl‘s newly constructed Distribution Centre has been built to the highest environmental standards. Installed on the roof by Enerpower is the largest PV system in Ireland boasting 4,364 panels. The annual energy yield is 1,012 MWh with predicted CO₂ savings of 473 tons per year.

As a result of this SMA Energy Systems installation over one quarter of Lidl‘s energy requirements will be generated by Solar, they also source 100% of their requirements from renewable energy.
